How puzzles are made

Sudoku boards begin with a valid solved grid. Clues are removed according to the selected level, and the generator checks that the published puzzle still has one solution. Difficulty is presented through the same ladder used by the Android experience.

Coaching philosophy

Hints should explain a logical next move instead of replacing thought with a final answer. Notes, candidate removal, boosts and Academy lessons are designed around that principle.

Android connection

The Classic Sudoku and Killer Sudoku apps provide offline play and native phone controls. SudokuIQ’s transfer feature lets players continue supported games on another device.

Puzzle integrity

Every published Classic Sudoku is generated from a complete valid grid and checked for a single solution after clues are removed. Killer cages are built from the solved grid so their totals remain internally consistent.

Explainable assistance

SudokuIQ separates a quick hint from a full coaching explanation. The Academy uses the same board language to show the target cell, relevant units, candidates that are ruled out and the reason a move is valid.

Privacy-aware continuation

Device transfer is optional and code based. A temporary game state is stored only when a player asks to move a puzzle, while ordinary board preferences and progress remain in browser storage.

Advertising independence

Gameplay, learning material and puzzle access do not depend on clicking an advertisement. Advertising areas are kept separate from board controls to reduce accidental interaction.
